Piman Bouk Bakery: The New Florida Bakery

Piman Bouk Bakery: The New Florida Bakery is a hidden gem located at 46 NE 62nd St, Miami, FL 33138, United States. Known for its Haitian-inspired baked goods, this bakery has been a favorite among locals and visitors for over 15 years. While it might not look like much from the outside, the quality of its offerings speaks for itself, making it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Haitian flavors.

One of the standout features of Piman Bouk Bakery is its bread. The freshly baked loaves are thick, dense, and slightly sweet, delivering a unique and satisfying taste. The bakery is especially popular for its Haitian bread, which many consider a perfect accompaniment to any meal. In addition to bread, Piman Bouk offers a variety of pastries and Haitian patties, which are also highly praised for their rich flavors and satisfying texture.

Great fresh bread. It is very dense and on the sweet side but delicious. Great pastries as well.

This place really doesn't look like much but if you want Haitian bread or pate, it won't disappoint. There isn't a huge selection but what they do, they do well. No chicken pate :(

I have been coming here for over 15 years and I absolutely love their Haitian Patties! I actually enjoy everything here from the thick bread to the other Haitian deserts. The only problem is, sometimes you can get there and the patties are not baked yet or they have sold out! They move how they desire and the local seem to know how they operate and when to come. They are closed on Sundays for the record!

Listen this place is no joke! I am not sure if it is always packed or if that was just today since it was NYE and that bread is needed for the soup joumou but the line was out the door when I got there just before 9. People were ordering boxes of bread to take home! And apparently this place opens at 5am too!!! While I love everything about Haitian food, for whatever reason I had never had a Haitian patty or Haitian bread. Since I had to wait in line for quite some time, I decided to try both and get the full experience. When the young lady brought me my bread it was piping hot! I wanted to sit on the floor right and just indulge in it! I also got two beef patties. Everything was certainly worth the wait!!! There is construction going on on 62nd street so if you don't know what you're looking for you will certainly miss it; I did. It sits right on the corner of 62nd street and north Miami ave but because of the construction work that is blocking the entrance from 62nd street you have to access it the back way from north Miami ct. not north Miami ave. Customer service was excellent. The young lady helped me out as she saw that I didn't speak or understand creole. She answered all of my question and did not seem aggravated with me for holding up the line a bit with my questions, lol. She was very nice. I will certainly be giving this place a try again in the very near future! So delicious.

I stopped by and had a couple of meat Patti's & a giant slice of carrot cake. The beef patty was very flaky and came out hot I enjoyed the buttery texture. The giant carrot cake was full of flavor it was different from your traditional carrot cake but tasty none the less. I would definitely have to go back and try to catfish patties as I hear they're good.
